From Friendship to Flavour
In the agricultural town of Mahuva, Gujarat, where the finest white and pink onions are grown, the journey of Optimum Food & Spices began as a story of friendship turned into a vision. Founded by two childhood friends, Sameer Badami and Shafin Sabuwala, the company reflects their shared passion for excellence and ethical business.
● Sameer Badami started in a manufacturing setup, gaining hands-on knowledge in
production planning, quality control, and marketing. His understanding of market-driven
food production allows Optimum to stay ahead of consumer demands.
● Shafin Sabuwala entered the onion processing industry through procurement and cold
storage management. With years of field expertise in dehydrated onion flakes and fried
onion sourcing, he leads all purchasing decisions with precision.
Their combined experience gives Optimum a unique strength: end-to-end control over the supply chain, from farm to factory to international distribution. Together, they ensure that every batch of product, from dehydrated onion flakes to coated fried onions—meets rigorous quality standards
